System Requirements
Understanding the Guitar Neck requires that Microsoft .Net Framework
3.5 Service Pack 1 be installed in order to function. Microsoft Net Framework
3.5 Service Pack 1 is will be automatically installed from Microsofts's
download site as part of the program setup procedure if it is not already installed
on the computer.
Requirements for Microsoft .Net Framework 3.5 Service Pack 1 are as follows:

Operating System – Windows XP (Service Pack 2), Windows Vista, Windows Server 2003,
Windows Server 2008.

Random Access Memory – at least 96 Megabytes, 256 Megabytes recommended.

Hard Disk Space – Microsoft specifies that up to 500 Megabytes
of disk space may be required.

Display – A minimum screen resolution of 800 X 600 pixels with
256 Colors is required. A resolution of 1024 X 768 with 32 bit (high color) is recommended.

It should be noted that installing .Net Framework 3.5 SP1 may take a
significant amount of time depending upon the speed of your internet connection.
Understanding the Guitar Neck also requires that Microsoft Windows
Insaller 3.1 be installed in order to function. Microsoft Windows Insaller 3.1
is will be automatically installed from Microsofts's download site as part of
the program setup procedure if it is not already installed on the computer.

Additional requirements for Understanding the Guitar Neck are as
follows:

Display – A minimum screen resolution of 800 X 600 pixels required.
A resolution of 1024 X 768 or more is highly recommended. The windows in the program
are designed for a resolution of at least 1024 X 768 and use of lower resolutions
will necessitate scrolling to see some windows in their entirety.

Hard Disk Space – the program requires approximately 3 Megabytes
disk space.

Printer – It is highly recommended that a printer be available
in order to allow the program’s print function to operate.

Audio Adapter – A MIDI capable audio adapter is recommended to
allow the program’s audio functions to operate.
